Abstract

A method of measuring the colour intensity a opacity of fluid solns. enables semi-quantitative photometric measurement and is applicable to calorimetric fluid measurement. By eliminating subjective factors the accuracy is improved and hence the degree of automisation of measurement. A measurement light beam passes perpendicularly through the sample. An extinction region beginning at O is divided into a number of equal intervals corresp. to the number of test tubes, pref. between 2 and 10. Each sample is analysed to determine its extinction value range.
