Abstract

The support foot is for a bale handler. It comprises an arm (1) which pivots about a bearing (9) on the chassis (10). This arm is operated by a single acting hydraulic cylinder (8) powered from the tractor power take-off. The unit allows the machine to be used at any angle. The cylinder is also attached (11) to the chassis and enables the foot to be raised for transportation and then re-lowered for use. A clevis (5) and bracket (14), together with a pin, hold the raised arm during transportation.
