Abstract

a. Transducteur ultrasonique insensible à la phase. b. Ce transducteur comprend un cristal de sulfure de cadmium ayant subi un recuit pendant une période de temps déterminée et à une température déterminée afin de produire une atténuation acoustique pratiquement maximale à la fréquence de travail du transducteur. Deux électrodes sont fixées au cristal, des moyens d'amplification et un système de traitement de signaux étant connectés à l'une des électrodes pour produire un récepteur ultrasonique. c. Essais non destructifs de matériaux, diagnostics médicaux et recherches biologiques.
