Un dispositif de mise en court-circuit de cet électrolyseur comporte un creuset 17 destiné à recevoir un métal ou un alliage fusible et muni d'un trou de coulée, ce creuset 17 étant porté par un chariot 18 coulissant sous l'action de moyens moteurs. Application : installations d'électrolyse.
