Abstract

Préparation d'acyl-CoA synthétase à activité élevée sur les acides gras à longue chaîne en C16 à C18 , à partir de micro-organismes. Elle consiste à cultiver sur un milieu approprié une souche appartenant aux espèces Escherichia, Aerobacter, Serratia, Proteus, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Daedalea, etc., à séparer les cellules du produit surnageant à activité enzymatique et à purifier ce dernier. L'acyl-CoA synthétase, ainsi obtenue, est aussi active que celle du microsome de foie de rat, et peut servir à la détermination de la quantité d'acides gras non estérifiés présents dans le sérum, et partant à diagnostiquer certaines maladies dont le diabète.
