Abstract

L'invention se rapporte au domaine des catalyseurs. Elle concerne un catalyseur constitué d'un support de noir de carbone oléophile ayant une surface spécifique inférieure à environ 300 m**2/g, ce support ayant déposé sur sa surface une proportion de 0,1 à 10 % environ, en poids par rapport au support, de platine métallique, et du fer sous la forme de son oxyde, hydroxyde ou carbonate, le rapport molaire du fer au platine tant compris entre 2 : 1 et 16 : 1 environ, ce catalyseur ayant : 1 degrés un rapport du rapport d'intensités ESCA platine/carbone à la teneur totale en platine, exprimée par sa concentration en pourcentage en poids divisée par 100, d'au moins environ 2,4; et 2 degrés un rapport du rapport d'intensités ESCA fer/carbone au rapport d'intensités ESCA platine/carbone, d'au moins environ Utilisation en chimie organique pour l'hydrogénation de composés aromatiques nitrés en amines correspondantes.
