Abstract

Cette chambre de précombustion 9 est formée dans une pièce métallique cylindrico-tubulaire 8 rapportée dans la culasse 4. La cavité interne de la pièce 8, formant la chambre de précombustion, possède une partie centrale cylindrique qui est reliée par une partie tronconique à une deuxième partie cylindrique de diamètre réduit dont l'axe est décalé par rapport à l'axe de la partie centrale cylindrique, dans le sens opposé à celui dans lequel est orientée l'extrémité communiquant avec la chambre de combustion 6. Dans la partie extrême supérieure de la pièce 8 est inséré un injecteur de carburant 12 qui est coaxial à la partie centrale cylindrique de la chambre de précombustion 9. Cette configuration de la chambre de précombustion diminue la fumée dans l'échappement.
