Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un moteur à expansion comprenant au moins un cylindre dans lequel est monté un piston et qui est muni d'une soupape d'admission pour l'admission d'un fluide thermodynamique à l'état de vapeur sous pression ainsi que d'une soupape d'échappement pour l'échappement de la vapeur détendue. Selon l'invention, ce moteur comporte des moyens 23 propres à faire varier le temps d'admission de la vapeur par rapport à son temps de détente.
