Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'épuration de gaz contenant du sulfure d'hydrogène au moyen de masses d'absorption contenant du cuivre métallique, ainsi que la régénération desdites masses. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que la régénération s'effectue en 2 étapes, d'abord par contact avec un gaz oxydant, puis avec un gaz réducteur de manière à obtenir un gaz riche en dioxyde soufre. L'invention est applicable à l'épuration de gaz industriels contenant de préférence de faibles quantités de sulfure d'hydrogène.
