Cet acier est obtenu par la limitation des teneurs en carbone et en azote à moins de 0,02 % chacune, par la limitation de la teneur en nickel à moins de 0,1 %, les pourcentages étant des pourcents en poids de l'élément dans l'acier, et par les respect de la condition : équivalent Cr = Ø%Crõ + 0,4 x Ø%Siõ quant pas le bourrage. Application aux barres de laiton au plomb destinées au décolletage automatique.
