Abstract

L'invention a trait à un procédé de dénitrification des eaux en milieu anaérobie par passage de l'eau en courant ascendant à travers un lit submergé et fixe d'un matériau granulaire spécifique, en présence de bactéries dénitrifiantes. Le matériau granulaire est constitué par une argile cuite (ou chamotte) renfermant 1 à 5 parties pour mille de molybdène, à côté, éventuellement, d'autres oligoéléments du type fer, manganèse, titane. Application au traitement d'eaux résiduaires, d'égouts ou industrielles.
