Abstract

Dispositif inviolable agissant comme antivol pour les véhicules automobiles. Il permet de désaccoupler mécaniquement ou électromécaniquement la colonne de direction dont l'arbre est scindé en deux parties en un endroit quelconque entre le volant et le boîtier de crémaillère. Au niveau de la coupure, un manchon 3 réalise la liaison des deux demi-arbres 1 et 2 et le verrouillage/déverrouillage de l'un sur l'autre. Ce manchon 3 est guide par une pièce pivotante 6, elle-même mise en action et bloquée dans ses positions de débattement extrême par un levier 10 commandé par le barillet de contact ou un système électrique mis en oeuvre par le barillet de contact. L'invention peut être utilisée pour désaccoupler le volant d'un véhicule automobile du reste de la colonne de direction. Le volant reste fixé sur la colonne de direction mais étant libre de tourner il n'entraîne plus cette dernière.
