Abstract

Dispositif pour l'examen par échoscopie ultrasonique d'un objet, notamment d'un patient en vue de l'établissement d'un diagnostic, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : un système transducteur pour émettre et transmettre des impulsions d'énergie ultrasonique le long d'une pluralité de faisceaux, dans un plan unique situé dans ledit objet, et pour recevoir des échos desdites impulsions réfléchies le long desdits faisceaux, en raison des discontinuités d'impédance acoustique à l'intérieur dudit objet, et des moyens pour entraîner en rotation ledit système transducteur par rapport audit objet, pendant l'examen de ce dernier.
