Abstract
The material projector is particularly for loading in mines and quarries, and has a rotor with devices for receiving and discharging the material. Each of these devices comprises a skip (11), attached via a connecting rod (10) to the rotor (9). The rotor axis is parallel to the connecting rod pivot pins, and the centre distance (R2) between these pins is half that between the rotor axis and the nearest pivot pins (R1). A drive turns the rotor and the connecting rods with skips in the same direction and at the same angular velocity.
