Abstract

a. Lampe à décharge formée d'une embase et d'un tube à décharge constitué par un corps en alumine polycristallin ou en saphir logé dans l'enveloppe extérieure b. Lampe caractérisée en ce que les capuchons en métal réfractaire 28 sont scellés à chaque extrémité du corps 26 du tube à décharge et les capuchons sont munis d'un revêtement intérieur en silicum métallique. Une électrode d'entretien de la décharge est prévue sur chaque capuchon; les électrodes sont espacées d'une distance prédéterminée. Le tube à décharge contient un amalgame sodium/mercure et les capuchons sont entourés par des écrans thermiques 4, de forme cylindrique, portés par le châssis 22.
