Abstract

The electrical energy generated by wind power is used to heat shielded electrical elements arranged inside a tank; a control box is fitted to regulate the heating characteristics. The tank is insulated and filled with water or other liquid, this being drawn off at the top, used for direct central heating purposes and returned to the tank at the bottom. In the upper part of the tank is a coil of tubing. This is used indirectly to heat the domestic hot water supply, using the heat stored in the tank.
