L'invention concerne un dispositif pour le renforcement de parois de fermeture et d'huisserie telles que portes et volets. Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce que le panneau d'obturation, tel que porte, volet ou analogue, est constitué d'au moins deux plaques jumelées dont une plaque de surface continue en matériau tel que le bois, et une plaque métallique de surface discontinue; plus particulièrement, la surface métallique discontinue est en métal déployé, pris en sandwich entre le panneau de porte et un contre-panneau de parement. Application au renforcement de portes en bois telles que portes d'appartement.
