Abstract

Le servo-moteur comprend une chambre de pression et deux alésages. Dans l'un des alésages est monté un piston qui coulisse sous l'effet de la pression du fluide sous pression admis dans la chambre de pression; dans le second alésage est montée une valve de commande qui coulisse sous l'action d'un mécanisme actionné par un opérateur et qui commande l'admission de fluide sous pression dans la chambre de pression. Afin de limiter la pression admise à un niveau prédéterminé, une valve navette comportant une partie de petit diamètre et une partie de grand diamètre est montée dans un passsage étagé de la valve de commande, la pression régnant dans la chambre de pression agissant sur les deux parties. Au cas où la pression dépasse la valeur prédéterminée, la valve navette se déplace pour interrompre l'admission de fluide dans la chambre de pression. Application aux systèmes de freinage pour véhicules automobiles, notamment ceux qui possèdent également un système de servo-direction.
