Abstract

La présente invention concerne un four de traitement thermique. La paroi supérieure du four comporte des poutres parallèles constituant une structure porteuse horizontale, des blocs réfractaires fixes, en forme de tronc de pyramide, suspendus aux poutres de la structure porteuse et disposés en rangées de bloc alignés bout-à-bout présentant chacune deux faces inclinées vers le haut; et des blocs réfractaires mobiles, en forme de tronc de pyramide inversé, disposés en rangées de bloc alignés bout-à-bout venant s'appuyer chacune sur les faces d'appui en vis-à-vis de deux rangées adjacentes de blocs réfractaires fixes, chaque bloc réfractaire mobile étant individuellement soit un bloc plein, soit un bloc équipé d'un corps de brûleur. Application à la construction de fours pour le chauffage ou le traitement thermique de produits, en particulier de produits métallurgiques.
