Abstract
L'appareil fonctionne par séparation des particules d'usure normale, de petit calibre, et des particules d'avarie plus lourdes annonçant une avarie mécanique. Des moyens de séparation, comportant un corps cylindrique 4 contenant un manchon cylindrique axial 22 ouvert en bas, provoquent une circulation tournoyante du fluide. Les particules d'usure légères y restent en suspension, mais les particules d'avarie plus lourdes, entraînées par effet centrifuge, viennent contre la paroi 20 du corps, pour être recueillies dans une cavité inférieure 31, disposée sensiblement en périphérie. Application aux circuits de graissage, notamment pour une surveillance continue en vol des matériels d'aéronautique, au moyen d'un indicateur à distance associé au détecteur 33.
