Abstract

C'est un réducteur de vitesse qui, sous un faible volume permet de transmettre des grandes puissances avec une réduction de vitesse fort importante. Il se compose d'un stator 1 comprenant une couronne intérieure de cames 2. Le rotor monté sur excentrique 4 porte une série de poussoirs à galets 7 et 8 qui viennent s'appuyer sur les cames. La réduction provient du fait que le nombre des cames est différent de celui des poussoirs. L'arbre primaire est solidaire de l'excentrique, l'arbre secondaire du rotor 6. Pour mieux équilibrer les efforts on peut monter sur l'arbre primaire 3 plusieurs étoiles de poussoirs décalées. Si on remplaçait l'excentrique par un distributeur hydraulique, on aurait un moteur.
