Abstract
An absorber for a solar energy collector comprises two corrugated sheets assembled by bands of adhesive material placed in planes perpendicular to the undulations in such a way that the corrugations of the two sheets are in concordance, and the distance sepg. the two sheets is constant at all points. The feed of heat transfer fluid into the space between the two sheets and the discharge of this fluid are carried out at the opposite edges of the collector parallel to the corrugation, so that the fluid circulates between the sheet parallel to the bands of adhesive material and perpendicular to the corrugations. The absorber can be made of inexpensive material, e.g. polyester resin laminates, without the need for difficult and costly assembly operations.
