Abstract

The propeller uses the oscillating movement of a flexible fin. The fin (1) is partly split in the travel direction of the boat, so as to form two flexible parts symmetrical in relation to the lenghtwise axis, and joined to a rigid edge (2). A drive spindle coupled to the edge transmits the oscillatory movement generated by the feet acting against two projections alternately. Steering can be by a helm controlled by handlebars. An engine or pedals can be used to provide the power.
