Abstract

The anti theft steering col. lock for a vehicles (1) is housed in a solid tube enveloping and welded to the steering col. (3) which houses the shaft (4) of the steering wheel. The lock has a guide bolt whose head (12) passes through a hole in the housing (144) into a recess in the shaft (145) stopping its rotation. The transverse movement of the guide bolt is obtd. vis gearing by rotation of the key cylinder at the back of the lock which is spring loaded internally so that the key can be introduced or extracted only in one position.
