Abstract

Cette enveloppe de pneumatique présente une bande de roulement comportant des blocs 3.1, 3.1' allongés en relief munis d'une ou de plusieurs découpures et délimités par des segments de rainure 3.2, 3.2' essentiellement rectilignes, non alignés, qui communiquent entre eux en formant un réseau croisé de rainures d'orientation transversale et oblique par rapport à la direction circonférentielle du pneumatique en traversant de part en part la bande de roulement pour déboucher dans la zone des épaules sur les côtés latéraux de l'aire de contact du pneumatique avec le sol, les blocs 3.1 en relief à grand axe transversal ont essentiellement la forme d'un solide prismatique dont le contour en section transversale s'inscrit dans un losange tronqué, les blocs en relief 3.1' des zones des épaules se différenciant essentiellement des blocs en relief de la couronne annulaire du sommet par leurs plus grandes dimensions en section transversale et par le fait que leur hauteur diminue progressivement en direction des flancs du pneumatique sensiblement à partir de leur diagonale parallèle à la direction circonférentielle du pneumatique.
