Abstract

L'invention a trait à un élément de coupe destiné à forer, en particulier à travailler des roches et des metaux. Cet élément de coupe est formé d'une partie de support en carbure fritté ou en une matière dure analogue et d'une partie de coupe en diamant polycristallin ou en une autre matiere de coupe superdure qui est unie à la partie de support. L'élément de coupe est formé d'une section d'un corps façonné de départ qui présente une zone de noyau faite de la matière de coupe et une zone extérieure faite de la matière dure entourant la zone de noyau au moins à sa périphérie comme une enveloppe. La fabrication d'un tel élément de coupe est particulièrement simple et peu onéreuse.
