Abstract

The toboggan has skis detachably connected to a steerable linkage. Each ski can be independently tilted about an axis parallel to the ski longitudinal axis or about a vertical axis. Each pivot control mechanism is held on a baseplate. The steering stick is held on a rotating steering pivot pin with an actuating lever on the other end. Pivot bearings are arranged on the bottom plate which accommodates ski bindings matching the sole of a ski boot.
