Abstract

Le véhicule marin comporte deux coques inférieures 2, conçues comme des sous-marins, reliées entre elles par des jambes 3 et des traverses 50 permettant aux utilisateurs le passage d'une coque à l'autre. Une troisième coque plus petite 4, également prévue pour être immergée, est située au-dessus de l'une des traverses supérieures, ainsi, éventuellement, qu'une cloche à plongeur 115, reliée à une autre traverse 50 par une ouverture d'accès et pouvant s'en détacher pour devenir autonome. L'ensemble ainsi obtenu peut naviguer ou travailler soit en surface, il possède alors les qualités manoeuvrières du catamaran, soit à demi-immergé, la coque 4 étant seule émergée alors, soit entièrement immergé, même posé au fond de la mer. Des systèmes de sas permettent le passage, par les jambes, des parties de l'ensemble qui sont sous pression atmosphérique aux parties qui sont sous pression de travail des plongeurs, en particulier chambre de décompression. L'ensemble peut comporter tous outils permettant p.e. de déposer un oléoduc sur le fond marin.
