Abstract
La présente invention concerne une cellule au sodium/soufre comportant du sodium en tant que masse active de l'électrode négative et du soufre ou des matériaux soufrés en tant que masse active de l'électrode positive et un électrolyte en verre conduisant les ions sodium, sous la forme de nombreux capillaires parallèles. Cette cellule est caractérisée en ce que la masse positive est disposée à l'intérieur des capillaires fermés de tous côtés et est mise en contact au moyen de fils métalliques fondus dans les capillaires, qui remplissent pour l'essentiel les capillaires dans le sens longitudinal et qui laissent de l'espace en direction radial pour l'absorption de la masse positive. Application aux accumulateurs d'énergie électrique.
