Abstract

The switch is operated by a single, bistable rocker arm or surface. The switch is intended esp. for door bells, numerical settings,alarms etc. The overall switch platform is rectangular and consists of a csing in which pivots the rocker (2). This has two sawtooth downward extensions (5, 6) set at different angles to the pivot (3) axis, such that the matching sprung switch electrodes (7, 8) are operated at different points in the rocker movement. Each electrode is mounted in a common insulating block (10) separating them from a common fixed electrode (9).
