Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à la catalyse. Elle concerne un procédé d'activation d'un catalyseur au fluorure chromique destiné à l'échange d'halogènes, caractérisé par les étapes suivantes : I. Mettre le catalyseur en contact, soit avec du gaz chlorhydrique et ensuite avec du chlore, soit avec ces deux substances simultanément, à une température suffisante pour convertir au moins une partie du fluorure chromique en chlorure chromique; et II. Mettre en contact le catalyseur contenant du chlorure chromique ainsi obtenu, avec du gaz fluorhydrique pour obtenir un catalyseur au fluorure chromique activé. Utilisation pour la fabrication de composés fluorocarbonés et chlorofluorocarbonés.
