Abstract
La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil de combustion. Cet appareil se compose d'un carter 10 dont l'extrémité ouverte est fermée par un couvercle 12. Une cloison cylindrique 14 partage le carter en une chambre cylindrique de combustion 16 et une chambre annulaire de refroidissement 18. Des pastilles 20 productrices de gaz sont placées dans la chambre 16. Un allumeur électrique 22 est fixé au carter 10. Un ressort hélicoïdal cylindrique 30 est placé dans la chambre 16 autour de l'allumeur 22. Ce ressort maintient les pastilles en place et les empêche de se briser, permettant ainsi leur combustion. La présente invention est notamment applicable aux générateurs de gaz pour des dispositifs gonflables de sécurité et aux dispositifs de mise à feu pour moteurs de fusées.
