Abstract

The connector has a perforated sleeve (1), the bore of the sleeve being smooth. An inner sleeve (3) is pushed into the end of the flexible pipe (4) and is of such a size as to compress the walls of the pipe. The outer flexible wall of the flexible pipe is allowed to expand to its normal diameter in the holes of the outer sleeve to prevent movement of the pipe axially as well as circumferentially. The outer sleeve has a screwed portion (6) to take the adaptor (7).
