Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode pour ajuster la pureté des couleurs d'un tube à rayons cathodiques qui comporte un dispositif d'ajustement de la pureté. Selon l'invention, on place un dispositif magnétique 38, 39, 40 à proximité du tube à rayons cathodiques 21 pour produire un champ magnétique auxiliaire, et on magnétise les composants métalliques du tube par le champ magnétique auxiliaire, qui a une force suffisante pour créer, lors de son enlèvement, un champ rémanent d'une force suffisante pour l'utiliser comme aide pour ajuster la pureté des couleurs du tube à rayons cathodiques; on retire le champ magnétique auxiliaire; on manoeuvre le tube à rayons cathodiques pour produire un motif des couleurs sur l'écran du tube à rayons cathodiques par interaction du champ rémanent avec au moins un faisceau d'électrons d'au moins un canon d'électrons du tube; et on ajuste le dispositif d'ajustement de pureté pour obtenir un motif des couleurs indiquant une purete correcte. L'invention s'applique notamment aux téléviseurs en couleurs.
