Abstract

The system has a voltage comparator and a HV coil whose primary is in series with an electronic contact breaker, while is secondary is coupled to the spark plugs via a distributor. The incorporated signal shapers have two complementary inputs and a transistor with a multiple collector each. The transistor collectors are coupled to current supplies for charging and discharging current for an external capacitor. The system contains a second external capacitor whose charging is prevented by anti-interference devices. The signal shapers have each a second transistor coupled to an integrator safeguarding the control charging and discharging of the second capacitor thus forming a voltage dependence between the two capacitors electrodes. A controlled mixer operates the charging of the ignition coil.
