Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour le traitement secondaire d'eaux usées. Ce procédé consiste à aérer l'eau usée contenant des bactéries dans un réservoir d'aération jusqu'à ce que le niveau de demande biochimique en oxygène soit sensiblement réduit, le rapport nourriture sur micro-organisme étant supérieur à un, à introduire l'eau usée aérée sous pression dans un clarificateur par flottation pour séparer les solides en suspension y compris les bactéries à recycler lesdits solides et bactéries vers l'étape d'aération en quantité suffisante pour maintenir le rapport nourriture sur micro-organisme et à enlever l'eau usée restante à DBO réduite. L'invention s'applique au traitement secondaire d'effluents d'usine de pâte au sulfite.
