Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un catalyseur pour réactions en phase gazeuse et le catalyseur ainsi obtenu. Selon l'invention, on imprègne une matière de support microporeuse ayant un diamètre moyen de pores de mois de 30 A avec une solution d'une substance donnant une matière catalytiquement active dans un mélange d'eau et d'un liquide organique qui réduit la tension superficielle de la solution. La solution contient de préférence 20 à 50 % d'eau et 50 à 80 % de méthanol. Applications : catalyseur pour filtres à cigarettes et pour convertisseurs de gaz d'échappement d'automobile.
