Abstract
The slave unit is designed for incorporation in the controls of an hydrostatic transmission, utilising a lever(15) in selecting the sense of rotation. A spring(14) or hydraulic pressure acts in the direction of the switch and on a distributor inverter(8), with the evvect that a locking mechanism(17) prevents switching unless a pump control(10) has attained a predetermined position. The latter position depends on the pressure in the relevant feed(9), and the transmission is of a type having a two-way reversible variable discharge pump. The hydraulic pump control automatically returns to a zero discharge position, being activated bi-laterally by a control distributor.
