Abstract
The bottle (1), which is used for temporarily storing a milk sample originating from a supplier, has a magnetic storage medium (2) on its circumference in which all the identifying data of the sample can be stored and which can be read out in an analysing device. Said magnetic storage medium (2) can be attached as a magnetisable layer to the circumference of the bottle, preferably as a strip which annularly surrounds the lower region of the bottle and which is mounted in an annular recess of the bottle by gluing or by ultrasonic welding or, alternatively, is embedded in the bottle material. In order to be able to read out the magnetic storage medium (2) in the analysing device starting from a predetermined position of the bottle (1), a ferromagnetic plate (3) which can be held magnetically on a turntable and has a circumferential marking (4) which can be picked off is attached to the bottom of the bottle. The main advantage is that the identifying data are inseparably joined to the bottle and cannot therefore be lost or interchanged.
