Abstract

L'INVENTION CONCERNE UN CATALYSEUR DE PLATINE AMELIORE ET SON PROCEDE DE FABRICATION. ON REDUIT LA VITESSE DE RECRISTALLISATION DU PLATINE DANS UN CATALYSEUR DE PLATINE A SUPPORT DE CARBONE EN DEPOSANT DU CARBONE POREUX SUR ET AUTOUR DES CRISTALLITES DE PLATINE SUPPORTEES. ON PEUT SOUMETTRE LE CATALYSEUR A UN CHAUFFAGE ULTERIEUR SOUS UNE ATMOSPHERE INERTE OU SOUS VIDE A UNE TEMPERATURE ELEVEE. ON PEUT AINSI OBTENIR UN CATALYSEUR CONSTITUE DE CRISTALLITES DE PLATINE SUR UN SUPPORT DE CARBONE, CE CATALYSEUR AYANT UN MEILLEUR RENDEMENT. LE CATALYSEUR DE L'INVENTION EST UTILISE DANS LES PILES A COMBUSTIBLE.THE INVENTION RELATES TO AN IMPROVED PLATINUM CATALYST AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS. THE SPEED OF RECRISTALLIZATION OF THE PLATE IN A CARBON-SUPPORTED PLATINUM CATALYST IS REDUCED BY DEPOSITING POROUS CARBON ON AND AROUND THE SUPPORTED PLATINUM CRYSTALLITES. THE CATALYST MAY BE SUBJECT TO SUBSEQUENT HEATING UNDER AN INERT ATMOSPHERE OR VACUUM AT A HIGH TEMPERATURE. A CATALYST CONSISTING OF PLATINUM CRYSTALLITES ON A CARBON SUPPORT CAN THUS BE OBTAINED, THIS CATALYST HAVING A BETTER EFFICIENCY. THE CATALYST OF THE INVENTION IS USED IN FUEL CELLS.
