Abstract

The depth indicator has a system of electronic switching to control approximate and precise depth indication. Output impulses are applied from an angular displacement indicator associated with the operation of the extraction installation. Light emitting diodes are able to be selected successively by the switching system and are associated at least with a graduated scale of approximate indication. The switching system contains static coders and is connected directly to a speed regulator. The diodes are disposed side by side, vertically, and precise indication is numerical.
