1482121 Indicating apparatus D MAYNERD and C E VARY 31 Oct 1975 [13 Sept 1974] 40050/74 Heading G1J [Also in Division H3] A solid state voltmeter comprises a scale 1 and a series of light emitting diodes 2 connected to an analogue-to-digital converter. All L.E.D.s up to the appropriate point may be energized, e.g. 2a-2b, or just a single L.E.D., e.g. 2b. Zero may be at the left hand or right hand end of the scale or in the centre. The scale markings may be L.E.D.s. The meter may be in the form of a single integrated circuit block.
