Abstract
The measurement of optical density is performed to determine effects of different reactive agents and analysis products on biological and chemical samples. By focussing luminous beam a reduced sample size is employed. Samples are housed in cylindrical holes (2) in transparent plastic plate (3). The optical system comprises luminous source (4) with lens (5) to focus beam onto samples. A plate (6) has circular hole (7) slightly smaller than diameter of sample container. After passing through sample the light traverses interference filter (8) prioe to detection (9). A recorder records light density on paper in sync. with movement of plate containing samples.
