Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un système perfectionné d'image par impulsions ultra-soniques fournissant une information dans un format qui peut être facilement interprété par l'opérateur. Il comprend un réseau mobile de transducteurs 16 qui sont séquentiellement activés pour transmettre et recevoir des signaux ultra-soniques le long de chemins de transmission pratiquement parallèles. Des réflexions ou échos provenant d'un ou de plusieurs transducteurs sont transmis à un circuit de contrôle analogique et sont présentés à un oscilloscope de visualisation, de sorte que la réflexion venant d'un objet effectue toujours à la même place sur l'oscilloscope quelle que soit la position du transducteur.
