Abstract

Procédé de raffinage de la pâte mécanique ou thermomécanique par l'ozone, destiné à permettre une consommation minima d'énergie. Il consiste à raffiner la pâte à un indice d'égouttage d'au moins 200 csf dans un raffineur du premier stade, d'où la pâte est envoyée dans un ozoniseur 10 à consistance élevée et dans un réacteur de maturation Il pendant une durée de 30 minutes au maximum. Du réacteur, la pâte passe directement dans un raffineur 12 de second stade, alors qu'elle a une teneur en solides d'environ 8 à 10 % et un pH de 7 à 10.
