Abstract
L'invention a trait au domaine de la chimie médicale. Elle concerne une nouvelle classe de dérivés d'alkylthiophénoxypropanolamines, dont un exemple représentatif apprécié est donné par le 1-Ø4-(1-méthyléthylthio)phénoxyõ-3-(octylamino)-2-propanol. Elle concerne également un procédé de préparation de ces composés. Les nouveaux composés de l'invention sont doués d'activité vasodilatatrice et antispasmodique, ils inhibent l'agrégation des plaquettes et ils sont sensiblement dépourvus d'activité de blocage bêta-adrénergique. Ils sont particulièrement intéressants à utiliser dans le traitement de troubles sensibles à la vasodilatation, par exemple de troubles par obstruction des vaisseaux périphériques et d'insuffisance vasculaire cérébrale.The invention relates to the field of medical chemistry. It relates to a new class of alkylthiophenoxypropanolamine derivatives, of which a popular representative example is given by 1-Ø4- (1-methylethylthio) phenoxyõ-3- (octylamino) -2-propanol. It also relates to a process for preparing these compounds. The new compounds of the invention are endowed with vasodilator and antispasmodic activity, they inhibit platelet aggregation and they are substantially devoid of beta-adrenergic blocking activity. They are of particular value for use in the treatment of disorders sensitive to vasodilation, for example disorders by obstruction of peripheral vessels and cerebrovascular insufficiency.
