Abstract

The belt or chain (5) is supported by levers (14, 15) on both sides and works in a vertical frame guide (40), the pairs of opposite levers being fixed together. The levers on one side are coupled together by an anti-parallel crank device (24-26) on their pivot points (18, 19) fixed to the frame, one lever (24) of which is fixed to the first cam follower (30) of a cam disc (32). The cam of the latter (35) has opposite larger and smaller radius sectors (37, 36), joined by intermediate sectors (38, 39). The belt or chain has along one edge pins on adjacent vessels (11) in a row, one on the bottom run engaging in a fork-type driving dog (43) on the link (45) of a parallel crank drive (44-46), while another on the top run engages with a vertical guide (42) fixed in the frame.
