Abstract

Ce pneumatique présente un profil elliptique, il est du type classique comprenant deux tringles 28, 30, une carcasse composée de nappes retournées à leurs extrémités autour de ces tringles, des flancs 16 et 18, des bandes d'usure 50, 52, une bande de roulement 14 et une ceinture 21. Le rapport d'aspect de la carcasse est d'environ 60, chaque flanc est composé dune partie radialement extérieure relativement mince et d'une partie radialement intérieure trois à cinq fois plus épaisse. Ce pneumatique est destiné à être gonflé à une pression supérieure d'environ 50 % aux pressions habituellement adoptées pour les pneumatiques comparables de la technique antérieure, ce qui diminue notablement sa résistance au roulement.
