Abstract

Procédé de formation de signes avec une matière de transfert. On utilise une matière de transfert et une feuille-support provisoire, la matière de transfert comprenant une feuille véhicule qui transmet la lumière et qui porte sur un côté des marques transférables on transfère ces marques en les faisant adhérer à la feuille-support provisoire dans l'ordre voulu pour former les inscriptions du signe, et on applique les marques transférées, à chaud et sous pression, sur la surface d'une feuille réceptrice du signe, transmettant la lumière, la composition de la matière constituant les marques étant telle qu'apres élimination de la feuille-support les marques restent sur la feuille réceptrice. Après le transfert, les marques peuvent être recouvertes par exemple d'un fond coloré faisant contraste. Les inscriptions transférées sont regardées à travers la feuille transparente ou translucide qui les protège contre les frottements et autres causes d'altération. Application à la fabrication de plaques d'immatriculation de véhicules.
