Abstract

a. Frein à tambour, notamment pour véhicules à moteur à utiliser en agriculture et/ou dans l'industrie du bâtiment comportant un double tambour de frein. b. Tambour caractérisé en ce que la plaque d'ancrage est réalisée, de manière connue en soi, sous forme de pièce coulée en principe en forme de plateau, et en ce que les paliers de support absorbant les efforts de freinage comme aussi bien d'étrésillonnement sont réalisés sous forme de supports en console disposés essentiellement d'un seul côté sur la face frontale, de la plaque d'ancrage 2 située en regard des tambours de frein, et sont pontés de l'un à l'autre par des traverses axiales placées entre eux ou à côté d'eux. c. L'invention s'applique notamment aux tracteurs agricoles.
